Hey Guys,

My graphics card has been playing up recently on my VPCEB2Z0E, I've been to the Sony Vaio support pages to install the new updates and even been to the ATI Radeon page (HD 5*** series) but games (such as LFD2 on steam) that I used to be able to play say that my graphics card isn't good enough.

I have also been receiving a Catalyst Control Center warning everytime I switch on my laptop.

I keep looking for the solution but it never finds one.

I wanted to ask the community if this is a hardware problem or if I just need a specific update etc.

Any help/replies would be appreciated.

    Hi Samthesnake and welcome.

I presume you have installed the Graphics Driver update to Version 8.732.8.2 on the Support Pages for your model here: -

    http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/VPCEB2Z0E_BQ/updates

It may be worth reinstalling this driver if you are having problems.

It is Sony's responsibility to provide driver updates for your ATi graphics - drivers from the ATi Radeon website will not install.

If you continue to have problems, you will need to contact Vaio Support.  Unless users report problems, Sony will be unlikely to provide updates.

Hi Sam. Do you really need catalyst control center? You have the option to stop it at start up.

Just hit on Run - msconfig - startup. Uncheck it. https://imagicon.info/cat/12-13/vmware_happy.gif
