Kenton Thatcher is an internationally acclaimed award winning contemporary and advertising portrait photographer. Born in London, England he soon became immersed in the world of photography thanks to his father’s obsession with the camera and darkroom. At the ripe young age of just 17, he started travelling the world and assisted many renowned and celebrated photographers. His last assignment before “going it alone” was assistant to international photographer Clive Arrowsmith on one of the prestigious and iconic Pirelli Calendar shoots. Although always on the move, Kenton is now based in Lisbon, Portugal where he has lived for the last 23 years and built up an impressive reputation as an exceptionally talented portrait photographer. His impressive portfolio includes captivating images of iconic high-profile international personalities such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Maria Sharapova, Jose Mourinho and Pierce Brosnan to name a few. Kenton is also actively involved in supporting various important high profile charitable organisations such as the Save The Children Fund, FTBC (Fashion Targets Breast Cancer) and recently, APAV Victim Support.
