Yonathan Kellerman is a photographer of motion, specialising in sports and dance. He was trained in cinematography as a camera assistant and then worked as a photo editor before veering into photography. He is fascinated by the world of sports, replete with politics, drama and emotion, and with athletes as modern-day icons. He has photographed the London and Rio Paralympic games and often shoots parasport events. He also directed a 90-minute documentary film for the Franco-German channel, Arte, entitled “Le revers de la médaille” about how retired athletes emerge from the damaging industry of sport. He now lives in Paris where he regularly gives photography workshops and seminars for various institutions. He has been an ambassador for Sony France since 2017 and works with the Opéra national de Paris since 2018.
