There is no sound when a Bluetooth (BT) device is connected to Blu-ray Disc home theater system

Check the following if there is no sound when a BT wireless device is connected to Blu-ray Disc player/ home theater system:

NOTE:
Because each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the sound status after completing each step.

  1. Ensure that the Blu-ray Disc player/ home theater system is not too far from the BT device.
  2. Ensure that the system is not receiving any interference from a Wi-Fi network, other 2.4 GHz wireless device or a microwave oven.
  3. Verify the BT connection between Blu-ray Disc player/ home theater system and the BT device.
  4. Pair the home theater system and the BT device again.
  5. Keep the Blu-ray Disc player/ home theater system  away from metal objects or surfaces.
  6. Verify that the BT function of the Blu-ray Disc player/ home theater system is selected.
  7. Adjust the volume of the BT device (the receiving device, such as a speaker or headphone). 
  8. If the volume level is still too low, adjust the volume level on the Blu-ray Disc player/ home theater system.
