The NFC function is not working with my smartphone

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

IMPORTANT: The method to complete these steps will differ depending on the type of smartphone. If necessary, refer to the instruction manual of your smartphone or contact the manufacturer for model-specific information.

    1. Look for the Near Field Communication (NFC) logo on a smartphone or mobile device to ensure that it is NFC compatible.
    2. If the smartphone is enclosed in a case or skin, remove it.
    3. Start the NFC Easy Connect app (available from the Google Play store) on the smartphone.

NOTE: The NFC function of Apple iOS devices is not compatible with one-touch connection. (As of October, 2014.)
    4. Touch the NFC device, such as a smartphone, onto the N marked area on the top of the unit. Check the connection status on the smartphone. The smartphone may not be recognised if you touch the wrong area or touch too quickly.

NOTE: Depending on the smartphone you are using, the NFC sensitivity may not be strong enough to connect the unit with just one touch. In this case, pair the smartphone and the audio system through Bluetooth wireless connection in which steps can be found in the instruction manual.
