Error: Out of memory appears when I selected Expand to RAM in the Hi-Res Audio Player setting of my Mac.

This error message appears when the Hi-Res Audio Player software detects that the computer's random access memory (RAM) is not enough to handle the bandwidth for Hi-Res Audio playback. Make sure that the computer's RAM capacity is bigger than the music file size.

Allocate more memory in the Expand to RAM setting in the Preferences window than the file size to be played (default size: 500 MB).

If the problem persists, do the following the steps below:

    1. Click Configure from the menu bar.
    2. Select Device and the Preferences window will appear.
    3. Under Audio Data Handling, click Normal.
    4. Click OK.

NOTE: Selecting the Expand to RAM mode plays back music after storing music files in the active memory of your computer. By canceling file access during playback, the CPU load can be reduced, and you can play back music files with stable quality. Select this method when you want to play back music in higher audio quality.
