My VAIO does not switch on or has no power

This article provides step-by-step instructions to start your VAIO PC again and discover the cause of the problem, the avoid the problem from reoccuring.

    1. Connect the AC adapter to a known working AC outlet and to the DC jack on the notebook.

      Please note:
      • Do not connect the AC adapter to a surge protector or extension cord.

      • If the DC jack on the computer is loose or damaged, the computer may require service.
