This article explains how to display the time on the Home screen of a Sony Android TV™ or Google TV™.

How to display the time on the Home screen
For Google TV
For Android TV
If the Date & Time have been set, the time can be displayed in the upper-right corner of the Home screen.
Note: The setting allowing you to always have the clock on display is not available on OLED TVs to prevent image retention.
Set the time on an Android TV
The TV is connected to a network
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings. - Select Device Preference.
Note: If Device Preference is not shown, skip this step.
- Select Date & time.
- The following steps depend on your TV model:
- Set Automatic date & time to On.
- Select Automatic date & time - Use network time.
- Set Automatic date & time to On, and then set Time synchronisation to Use network-provided time.
The TV is not connected to a network
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings. - Select Device Preference.
Note: If Device Preference is not shown, skip this step.
- Select Date & time.
- Set Automatic date & time to Off.
- Manually adjust the Date and Time.
