Why can't I access the BBC Red Button+ service?

If you cannot access the BBC Connected Red Button Service, please check the following:

  • Check your Aerial is connected to your TV
  • Check your TV is connected to the Internet. If you’re unable to connect to the Internet then see the article: Connecting to a network on your Sony's Android TV
  • Make sure you are trying to access the service from one of the ‘on-air’ BBC channels. If the channel is ‘off-air’ the Connected Red Button service will not be available. Try using another ‘on-air’ BBC channel

[Settings] > [TV Signal & Quality] > [Re-tune Channels].

To see all the players available in your area, please put your address details in the Availability Checker, and see the On Demand section.

**NOTE: The STV Player is available in Scotland only. However, regions that border England and Scotland that can receive both transmissions may be affected.

If you are still not able to see the players, please check YouView's useful contact support page.
