Limited Warranty Extension for the LCD Panel in some 55" BRAVIA television models from 2012

    Sony has identified a limited number of 55" BRAVIA LCD televisions (models listed below) which may develop a horizontal line or bar across the LCD display.

    • KDL-55HX950
    • KDL-55HX955

    Solution

    As part of our commitment to quality, Sony has a programme to replace any affected models experiencing this issue through to September 30, 2017.

    NOTE: This limited warranty extension is only applicable to specific horizontal or horizontal bar symptoms for the affected models, and except as set forth in this announcement, the terms of the Sony limited warranty that accompanied the affected models to apply.
