If you struggle with wireless connection issues
Follow these instructions if you encounter an issue with the wireless connection:
- Move the subwoofer closer to the central unit of the home theatre.
- If possible, place the subwoofer where it isn't directly blocked by any furniture, walls, or metal barriers.
- Move your wireless router more than one meter (3 feet) away from the central unit, subwoofer, or sound speaker.
- If the wireless router can switch between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, try the other frequency.
- For the HT-ST9, HT-ST5, HT-NT3, HT-RT5: Try switching the wireless router to the 2.4 GHz band.
- For the HT-CT780, HT-CT380, HT-NT5, HT-CT790, HT-CT390, HT-XF9000, HT-X9000F: Switch the wireless router to the 5 GHz band.
- If the wireless router has multiple channels, set it to a different channel. If the connection issue is resolved, save the setting for that channel.
- Check the router manual for details on how to change the channel.
- If the instructions aren't clear, restart the router. It may automatically select another channel when it turns back on.
