Sound skips when I am listening to music via headphones compatible with LDAC.
Sound may skip according to the network environment when your smartphone or Wi-Fi device is performing communication around the unit, since LDAC transfers a lot of information. Try changing the Playback quality settings of the device that is connected to the unit, such as a smartphone or Walkman, from Prioritize Sound Quality to Prioritize Connection.
NOTE: The steps to change the playback quality settings vary depending on the device that is connected to the headphones. Refer to the instruction manual of the device for more details. Below is an example on how to change the playback quality settings of an NW-A20 series WALKMAN® player.
- From the Home menu, select Settings.
- Select Bluetooth Settings.
- Select Wireless Playback Quality.
- Select Select.
- As the following items will appear, select LDAC (Prioritize Connection)
NOTE: Other suitable options to improve the connection include aptX / SBC (Prioritize Connection)
