Sound is coming out from the computer and not from the portable speaker

    Try the following procedures:

    For Windows

    • Windows 8 and 8.1
    1. Move the mouse cursor to the bottom left corner of the screen and right-click the Start menu button
    2. Click Control Panel from the displayed list.
    3. Click Hardware and Sound.
    4. Click Manage audio devices.
    5. Click Playback then select SONY Audio from the list.
    6. Click Set Default.
    • Windows 7
    1. Select Start.
    2. Select Control Panel.
    3. Select Sound.
    4. Click Playback then select SONY Audio from the list.
    5. Click Set Default.

    For Mac

    1. Click System Preferences.
    2. Click Sound.
    3. Select Output.
    4. Select Sony Audio from the list.

    NOTE: Sound may come out from the PC when multiple playback applications are used simultaneously. In this case, terminate all the applications then play the content again.
