Connect and register a USB HDD.

Record the program you are watching (One-touch recording) or schedule a recording from the program guide (Timer recording).

To watch or delete recorded content, select Recorded Title List and proceed with the appropriate procedure.

Troubleshooting

The USB HDD is not recognized or cannot be registered

- Connecting the USB HDD via a USB hub is not supported.
- Check if the USB HDD is connected to the USB port labelled HDD REC.

Recording cannot be performed

- For UK only:
The HDD recording feature is not available if YouView functionality is enabled. - If the recording fails while watching another satellite TV program, refer to the following article: When recording a program while watching another satellite television program, the recording fails.

Playback issue
Check the following:
- Check the filter settings on the Title List.
For details, refer to Recorded titles disappeared from the title list in the following article: Android TV does not work properly after software update . - Disconnect the USB cable of the HDD from the TV, then perform a power reset on the TV .
IMPORTANT: Don't disconnect the USB cable while the external USB HDD is being accessed (while the control light is flashing).
