How to reset or initialise the WF-XB700 earbud headphones

Follow these steps to reset or initialise the headphones.

Resetting the headset

1. Press and hold the button on the left unit for about 20 seconds.
   

2. Release your finger when the indicator (red) of the headset turns off after flashing.

3. Press and hold the button on the right unit for about 20 seconds.
   

4. Release your finger when the indicator (red) of the headset turns off after flashing.

NOTES: 

• If the headset does not operate correctly even after resetting, initialise the headset to restore factory settings.
• The device registration (pairing) information and other settings are retained.

Initialising the headset to restore factory settings

1. Press and hold the buttons on both the left and right units of the headset for about 15 seconds.

2. Release your fingers within 5 seconds after the indicators (red) of the headset start flashing.
   NOTE: Check that the indicators (red) on both the left and right units of the headset light up before you press the buttons on both the left and right units of the headset.

3. Press the buttons on both the left and right units within 10 seconds after the indicators (red) of the headset light up.

4. After a few seconds, the indicators (blue) flash 4 times, and the initialisation is complete.
   If you are not sure if the initialisation process has completed, wait a few minutes and start over from step 1.
   Do not put the headset back in the charging case before the initialisation process is complete.

NOTES:

• This operation resets volume settings, etc. to the factory settings, and deletes all pairing information. In this case, delete the pairing information for the headset from the device and then pair them again.
• If you have updated the software after purchasing the headset, even if you initialise the headset, the software is retained updated.
