The audio and video are out of sync when using an HDMI connection with a home theatre system or soundbar

Depending on the sound source output from your devices (Blu-ray Disc Player, set-top box (STB), game consoles), the sound may lag behind the picture, or the picture may lag behind the sound. If this is the case, select the solution which corresponds to the connected source device.
When the source device is connected to the home theatre system or soundbar via HDMI
If the home theatre system or soundbar has a SYNC (A/V sync) function, adjust the setting and see if the issue improves.

When the source device is connected to the TV via HDMI, or the audio source is output from the TV (TV broadcast, Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, etc.)
