The remaining battery charge varies between the left and right earbuds

Each earbud loses battery at a different rate depending on whether it's used as the main control unit, or the features you use while wearing them. The earbud that's used as the main control unit will consume more power than the other side. Using certain features such as the voice assistant or Service Link may also affect one side more than the other. This is completely normal.
Keep in mind that the remaining battery charge level displayed in the Sony | Sound Connect app (formerly Sony | Headphones Connect), shown on your mobile device, or heard from the voice guidance, is only an estimate.
