    Noise appears during fast‑moving scenes or scene transitions

    If you notice visual noise during fast-moving scenes or scene transitions, the MJC setting may be the cause. MJC is designed to make motion appear smoother, but it can sometimes create unwanted image artifacts. Follow the steps below to adjust the MJC settings and reduce the noise.

    • During scene transitions or fast-moving scenes
    • Along the edges of the screen during fast-moving scenes

    Change the MJC settings

    If the visual noise is noticeable or distracting, try different MJC to reduce the effect.

    1. On the remote control, press the Dashboard (gear) button.
    2. Select Display.
    3. Select Advanced settings.
    4. Select MJC.
    5. Select Effect and change the settings.

    Note: If adjusting the Effect setting does not reduce the noise, switch to User mode and adjust the Deblur setting:

    1. On the remote control, press the Dashboard (gear) button.
    2. Select Display.
    3. Select Advanced settings.
    4. Select MJC.
    5. Select Effect and then select User.
    6. Increase the Deblur value as needed from 0 to 10.
    7. Increase the Dejudder value as needed from 0 to 10.
    8. If the noise persists after adjusting these settings, set MJC > Effect to Off.
