Office 2010 is missing from the box of my VAIO notebook

    SonyStyle offers custom configured VAIO computers, including software choices. This article provides information about Office 2010 licenses in this context.

    When you add an Office 2010 license to your VAIO notebook purchase at Sony Store Online Europe, a product identifier card is added to the VAIO's box (see Figure 1). This card contains the product key required to activate the Office 2010 functions included in the license.

    To activate your Office 2010 license, proceed as follows:
    1. Click on Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office 2010
    2. Select I already purchased Office 2010
    3. Enter the product key from the Product Identifier Card.
    4. Follow the on screen instructions.
    5. Keep the product identifier card safe, do not discard it.
    Should you need to reinstall Office 2010, you can restore the preloaded installation using the VAIO Recovery Center and activate it again with your product key.
