This lens must be attached to an E-mount body camera to perform this update. The update method may vary depending on the camera you are using.

• For the cameras listed below:
  • ILCE-7RM6
  Please update using a memory card.
  • SEL2870 Lens System Software (Firmware) Update Ver. 03 (Memory Card)
  Note: As of March 10, 2026, we are no longer providing the memory card version of the lens system software update for the ILCE-7M5.
  Please update the lens system software using Windows or Mac OS.
• If you are using a camera not listed above:
  Please update using the Windows or Mac OS version.
  • SEL2870 Lens System Software (Firmware) Update Ver. 03 (Windows)
  • SEL2870 Lens System Software (Firmware) Update Ver. 03 (Mac)
