Apple AirPlay: Displaying content from your Apple devices to your Android TV™

1. Go to the  Settings:
   • If your remote control has a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the Quick Settings button and select  Settings.
   • If your remote control does not have a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the HOME button and select  Settings.
2. From the Settings screen, select System.
   
3. Select Apple AirPlay & HomeKit.
   
4. Select Apple AirPlay & HomeKit settings.
   
5. Select AirPlay and press the  (Enter) button on your remote control to turn this feature on or off.
   

1. Connect your Apple device and TV to the same Internet network.
2. There are a few ways to display different content on your TV. Here are a few examples:
   • Video: Start playback on your Apple device, then tap  (AirPlay Video) and select your connected TV model (for example, SONY KD-55X80K).
     
   • Photos: Start the photo display on your Apple device, then tap  (Share) and select your connected TV model.
     
   • Music: Start playback on your Apple device, then tap  (AirPlay Audio) and select your connected TV model.
     
   • Entire mobile device screen: Open the control centre on the Apple device, then tap  (Mirroring) and select your connected TV model.
     
   Note: In some apps, you may have to tap another icon first before you can mirror your screen (e.g. the cast icon ).
3. Select AirPlay on your Apple device, then select the TV you want to use with AirPlay.

1. Turn the AirPlay setting on:
   1. On your TV remote control, press the  (Input select) button and select  (AirPlay).
   2. Select AirPlay & HomeKit settings and turn on AirPlay.
2. Update your TV and Apple device to the latest version.

3. Restart your TV and Apple device.

• Apple Airplay 2 compatibility depends on your TV model and software version.
• The models listed in the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article support Apple HomeKit.
  To set up Apple HomeKit:
  1. Press the INPUT or  (Input select) button on your remote control.
  2. Select  (AirPlay).
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Apple HomeKit.
     Note: Compatibility depends on the app and software version of your TV and Apple device.
• If you enable Remote start, you can turn on your TV with an Apple device:
  1. On the remote control, press the Quick settings ( or ) or ACTION MENU button.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Network & Internet.
  4. Select Remote start.
