IMPORTANT: This article is only for TVs. Disney+ is not supported on the Blu-ray Disc Player.

To watch Disney+, make sure the app is supported in your country, you have a Disney+ supported device, and you've paid for your subscription. For more information about the Disney+ app, we invite you to visit the FAQs section on the Disney+ website or the Disney+ Help Center.

In what countries is the Disney+ app available?

According to the Disney+ Help Center, the Disney+ app is available in various countries/regions throughout:

    • North America
    • Latin America
    • Asia-Pacific
    • Europe

For a more detailed list of countries supporting Disney+, you can visit the Disney+ Wikipedia page

Can I use Disney+ when I'm not in my home country/region?

Yes! If you have a Disney+ subscription and are travelling abroad, you can watch Disney+ content available in the country/region you're in. To make sure you can watch your favourite Disney+ films or shows while abroad, download Disney+ content to your device beforehand (use Wi-Fi if you'd like to save mobile data). If you live in the European Union, you can enjoy the same version of Disney+ as in your home country while travelling within the EU Member States or Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland.

What TVs are supported by the Disney+ app?

The Disney+ app can be used with Android TV or Google TV models. You can install the Disney+ app from the Google Play Store in some countries on Sony BRAVIA TV models released in 2015 onwards. You must be logged into the Google Play Store to download the app. If you're unsure if you have an Android TV, Google TV or other Smart TV, check your product specification or manuals. You can also refer to the article: Is my TV an Android TV or Google TV model.

Unfortunately, only TVs with an Android operating system can download new apps. Other Smart TVs don't have access to the Google Play store and have pre-installed apps or apps that are added or removed from the system on the server. If you have a non-Android TV, you can't download the app from the Google Play Store. However, it's still possible to watch Disney+ on your TV by casting Disney+ content from your computer or a casting device (e.g. Google Chromecast)
