Error 7007 or 7016 appears when trying to update the software via the internet

    These error codes may be displayed after updating the TV software directly via the internet fails. Alternatively, the update can be done via USB stick.

    What do the error codes indicate?

    Error code 7007: Internet connection is lost or the Internet line speed is low when the system software is updated via the Internet.
    Error code 7016: Issue with the configuration settings of your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

    You need to download the firmware file from the Sony Support site, copy it to a USB stick, and install it on your TV.
