Navigating the Sony | Sound Connect app

In this video tutorial, we'll show you how to customise the sound settings and access key controls and features in the Sony | Sound Connect app (formerly Sony | Headphones Connect).

Switching between Noise Canceling and Ambient Sound

With Adaptive Sound Control, you decide how much ambient sound you want (or don't want) to hear, whether you're at home or on the go.

    • Noise Canceling: Reduces ambient noise for a quieter listening environment
    • Ambient Sound: Filters in as much or as little surrounding noise as you want

    Adjusting the Equalizer settings

Use the Equalizer to adjust frequency levels and tailor the sound to your preferences or what you’re listening to. You can make it:

    • Warmer and more relaxed (soft, mellow sounds)
    • Brighter and more energetic (think crisp instrumentals and EDM vibes)
    • Fine-tuned to emphasise vocals, bass, treble, and more

    Experiencing 360 Reality Audio

Immerse yourself in a three-dimensional sound field with concert-quality vocals, instruments, and sound effects. With 360 Reality Audio, you can:

    • Create a personalised hearing profile based on your unique ear shape
    • Save your hearing profile to your headphones for future use
    • Link your profile to supported streaming apps for optimised comfort and convenience
