Get the most out of your viewing and audio experience with our easy-to-use picture and sound settings.


Brightness Sensor

Automatically adjust the brightness levels on your screen depending on the lighting in the room. No more dark images and greater clarity of picture to get the best out of what you are watching.



To set the image quality, press Settings button (Gear icon) on the remote control and select [Settings]-[Display & Sound]-[Picture]-[Light sensor] on / off.


Built-in room sound correction

Enjoy an immersive sound and a cinematic experience, no matter the shape or size of your room with our customised room sound settings.



To adjust the sound quality automatically, press Settings button (Gear icon) on the remote control and select [Settings]-[Display and Sound]-[Sound]-[Acounstic auto calibration].


Customise the image quality

Set your image quality to get the most out of your viewing, no matter the source; YouTube; Netflix or HDMI input.Enjoy vivid images as you watch your favourite movies, sports, live music and more!

Press Settings button (Gear icon) and select the desired setting. To adjust the quality of the content you are viewing, press Settings button (Gear icon) on the remote control to select it.

How to customise (edit and add) “Setting Button”

If you press Settings button (Gear icon) and [Picture mode] does not appear, you can add a display.

Press [Gear icon] on your Remote Control and then press the > Button to proceed to [Edit]. Click [Edit], to display [Picture mode], and then make sure it is checked.


Cinema Mode

View films as the director intended with “Cinema" mode, developed with Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. It is our recommendation for the best in image quality.

Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range), Cinema mode gives you vivid colour even in dark scenes so you can experience the film as it was meant to be seen.


Netflix calibrated mode

Jointly developed with Netflix, Bravia’s exclusive Netflix calibrated mode, allows you to experience picture quality as the filmmakers intended. Feel like you are in a cinema whilst in the comfort of your own home.

1.Log in to Netflix

2.Press Settings button (Gear icon) button on the remote control while watching

3.Please enable "Netflix calibrated mode" from "Picture settings" of the setting button.


Customize the sound quality to your liking

Enjoy changing the sound quality to your liking according to what you are watching, whether movies, sports, or live music.

To adjust the sound quality of the content, press Settings button (Gear icon) on the remote control to select it.

Press [Sound mode] and select the setting you like.


Voice Zoom

*Not available for X80J series

To help you hear dialogue more clearly, BRAVIA’s "Voice Zoom" function allows you to adjust the volume to your liking.

No more struggling to hear low voices or whispers in your favourite film. Amplify voices when you are watching that tense sport game and need to hear the commentary, but still want to enjoy the sense of atmosphere.



To set the voice zoom, press Settings button (Gear icon) on the remote control to select it. Select [Settings]-[Display and sound]-[Sound]-[Sound Customisation]-[Voice Zoom] and adjust from maximum to minimum to your liking.
