Listening mode

Switch between three listening modes to suit your surroundings. From busy streets to quiet places, choose the mode that fits the moment.

How to switch listening modes

In the Sony | Sound Connect app, go to “Sound” and you can switch the sound depending on the content and usage situation:

[Standard]

A balanced, natural sound for everyday listening. In Standard mode, your music feels like part of your day, not a barrier to it.

[Voice Boost]

Increases the volume and makes voices stand out. Recommended for scenes with noisy surroundings.

[Sound Leakage Reduction]

It adjusts high frequencies to help reduce sound leakage, making it ideal for shared spaces like elevators or trains where you want your music to stay more private.

You can also switch between three listening modes with a double tap on the left earbuds.

Sound Customisation

Sony | Sound Connect app is a newly developed support app for Sony headphones and speakers. It allows users to not only access a range of features, but also to tailor the sound to your own taste.

With 9 presets and 2 customisable presets, you can easily and quickly select the best sound for you.
Find your Equaliser

Find your Equaliser

In the Sony | Sound Connect app, you can find your favourite sound balance by selecting the sound while listening to music.

The configured values can be saved in "Custom 2" of the equaliser menu.

DSEE

DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine)

When you stream music, the original music source is compressed and high-frequency elements that add detail and richness are lost. DSEE faithfully restores these to produce a high-quality sound that’s closer to the original recording.
