How to disable "Demo mode" on portable and home audio devices
IMPORTANT: If any model-specific information is needed to complete any of these steps, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the product.
Sony stereo systems will enter the Demo Mode the first time you power on the system or if you do not operate the unit shortly after turning on the power to the system.

GTK-XB60 | During the demonstration, press and hold the W.Party Chain - Light button for more than three seconds. The demonstration will turn off and the system will go into standby mode. Note: if you press and hold the W. Party Chain - Light button for 3 seconds when the system is in standby mode, or, if you unplug and plug the power cord back in, the demonstration mode will turn on again. |
