How to throw contents from Sony Tablet to DLNA Media Player?
Throwing contents from Sony Tablet to DLNA Media Player.
- Make sure that you have set-up the connection of your Media Player to your Home Network. Examples of DLNA certified Media Players are VAIO laptop, BRAVIA TV, PlayStation, Music Player, etc.
- Set-up BRAVIA TV. Connect your BRAVIA TV to your Home Network using Ethernet cable or Wireless Bridge. Click here to view detailed instructions.
- Set-up VAIO laptop. Connect your VAIO Laptop to your Home Network using Ethernet cable or Wireless Router. In the Windows Media Player application, ensure that “Allow Internet access to home media” and “Allow remote control of my Player” options are enabled under the Stream menu. You may need to link an Online ID first to enable the option.
- Applications which have “throw” features are Music Player, Video Player and Gallery.
- - Tap the Music Player icon in the Apps list to throw Music contents.
- - Tap the Video Player icon in the Apps list to throw Video contents.
- - Tap the Gallery icon in the Apps list to throw Images.
- Select the music, video, images you want to throw and tap the "Throw" button in the apps controls.
- Throw button of Music Player is located on top of the screen location.
- Throw button of Video Player is located at the bottom of the screen application.
- Throw button of Gallery is located on the upper-right corner of the screen application.
- Drag and drop the content to one of the Media Players connected in your Home Network as displayed above DLNA application screen.
- Sony Tablet connects to the Media Player (e.g. BRAVIA TV) and plays the content (music, pictures and video). There are Pause, Rewind and Forward controls in the Music Player and Video Player applications.
