I cannot access the network service content in the Google Play Store, Movies/TV, Music (Google Play), YouTube or Games applications
These applications require an Internet connection and the correct Date & time settings. Follow the steps below to make sure that your TV is connected to the Internet and that the Date & time settings are correct.
To check network status:
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select Help, then press the Enter button.
- Select Internet connectivity symptoms, then press the Enter button.
To set date and time:
If Sony's Android TV is connected to a network
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select Settings, then press the Enter button.
- Select Date & time in the SYSTEM PREFERENCES category, then press the Enter button.
- Set Automatic date & time to On.
- Set Time synchronization to Use network-provided time.
If your Sony's Android TV is not connected to a network:
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select Settings, then press the Enter button.
- Select Date & time in the SYSTEM PREFERENCES category, then press the Enter button.
- Set Automatic date & time to Off.
- Manually adjust the Date and Time.
NOTE: If the Date & time settings are not correct, these functions may not work properly:
- Search/Voice Search
- Voice Actions
- Backdrop (screen saver with scenic pictures)
