Can I download apps?
Your TV will have certain apps pre-installed; however, you may be able to install new apps from the Google Play Store, depending on your model.
First, you should check whether you have an Android TV or a non-Android TV. Here is a guide you can use to distinguish between the two. Unfortunately, only Android TVs can download new apps. Other TVs have pre-installed apps or apps that are added/or removed from the system on the server.

How can I watch Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+ (or other streaming services) on my TV when I don’t have access to the Google Playstore?
There are a few ways of watching certain streaming apps on your TV if you don’t have access to the Google Play Store. You can connect a laptop, streaming device or gaming console to your TV.
How to solve the most common issues with apps on your TV
Do you have questions about:
- The availability of other apps?
- Apps disappearing from your TV or problems connecting to certain services?
The services may not be available (such as being unable to watch videos or log in) due to system maintenance by the network service provider. In such a case, refer to the information provided in the links above, and wait for a while before trying to reconnect. Alternatively, please check our BRAVIA TV apps article that offers the most common troubleshooting solutions.
