Using Update Services may change the apps shown in the My Apps area.
This can happen when streaming services update their software or content, which may refresh, replace, or remove certain customized app shortcuts.
What is Update Services?
Update Services is a built-in function that keeps your Blu-ray Disc™ player’s streaming services up to date.
When new update information is detected for a video streaming service, the player allows you to install it through this feature.
How to run Update Services
You can start an update in either of these ways:
Option 1 – From a streaming app
- Open a video streaming service.
- Press the OPTIONS button on the remote.
- Select Update Services.
Option 2 – From the Home screen
- Go to the Home screen.
- Select the Update Services icon in the top-right corner.
