Sound Organizer to replace Digital Voice Editor

Introducing Sound Organizer

As of 31 March 2017, Digital Voice editor (ver.3.3.), which is computer software used for importing, playing and editing files recorded from IC recorders, won't be available any longer.

In its place, Sony presents Sound Organizer (ver 1.6). This free software is an audio application that has the same functionality as Digital Voice Editor.

How to import files in Sound Organizer

You can import files on your computer into Sound Organizer using one of the following methods:

Drag-and-drop

1. Select the library (Recording files [Voice] or [Music]) to which you want to register the file from the sidebar
2. Drag-and-drop files into the file list
3. Click "Import" or "OK"

Specify files or folders

1. Select "Import Recorded Voice File" or "Import Recorded Audio Folder" from the [File] menu at the top of the screen
2. Select the files / folders that you want to import
3. Click "Import" or "OK"

Import Music Library

1. Select "import Music File" or "Import Music Folder" from the [File] menu at the top of the screen
2. Select the files/folders that you want to import
3. Click "Import" or "OK"
