I can't access HbbTV services on my BRAVIA TV
What is HbbTV?
Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV (HbbTV) offers a variety of broadcast and broadband content, including video-on-demand (VOD) and catch-up TV services, information services (e.g. news, sport, weather), interactive functions, and enhanced Teletext subtitles.
Having issues with HbbTV?
You can take different steps to improve compatibility between your TV and HbbTV function. Remember to check if HbbTV works after performing each procedure.
Note: Some features may not be available on all devices.
Agree with the BRAVIA Privacy Policy
Important: You can't use the HbbTV function for broadcast if you disagree with the BRAVIA Privacy Policy.

Press the HOME button on your remote control.

Select Help (?) in the Settings category.

Select Privacy setting in the Troubleshooting and system information category.

Select Agree.
Enable HbbTV and Interactive Application
Confirm TV Compatibility
Make sure the content you are trying to access is compatible with your HbbTV device.
To watch HbbTV, you will need the following items:

A hybrid IPTV set-top box
-
Input connectors (including Ethernet)

At least one of the following tuners for receiving broadcast TV signals:

Digital terrestrial TV: DVB-T, DVB-T2

Digital cable: DVB-C, DVB-C2

Digital satellite: DVB-S, DVB-S2

Notes about BBC Red Button / Connected Red Button services:

Your TV / set-top box must support HbbTV to run (Connected) Red Button services such as news and sports, BBC iPlayer, BBC Sounds, etc.

To confirm compatibility, check with your device's manufacturer.

Important: Not all services are available on all models or in all countries or regions.

Update the TV Firmware
Sony will provide software updates from time to time to enhance functionality and provide you with the latest TV experience.
The easiest way to receive software updates is via an Internet connection to the TV.
Notes:

When Automatically check for update is disabled, your TV can't receive notifications even when a software update is available.

If you can't connect to a network, you can also update your TV software via a USB storage device.

Check the Internet Connection

Ensure the TV is connected to the Internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).

Test the connection by trying to access other online services or apps.

Reset the TV Settings

Clear the TV App Cache
If the TV has an option to clear the cache for apps, do this to remove any corrupted data.
Check the TV Broadcast Signal
A weak broadcast signal is typically due to a bad or broken antenna cable, a bad position of the satellite dish, or interference by other devices. To improve the broadcast signal, you will need to change the setup of your tuning equipment.

Make sure the TV is receiving a strong broadcast signal.

If using an antenna, reposition it for better reception.

Re-scan or auto-tune the TV Channels
Keep in mind your TV won't automatically receive new broadcast services. To detect any new channels that may have HbbTV services, try re-scanning or auto-tuning the TV channels.

Press the HOME button on your remote control.

The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:

Select Settings → Channel Set-up → Digital Set-up → Digital Tuning → Digital Auto Tuning.

Select Settings → Digital Set-up → Digital Auto Tuning.

Select Settings → System Settings → Channel Set-up → Digital Set-up → Digital Tuning → Digital Auto Tuning → OK.

Select Settings → Watching TV → Channels → Channel setup → Auto tuning → Digital (Terrestrial) → OK → Choose the Aerial option.
