Discontinuation of Media Go - Welcome Music Center for PC! - 18th October 2017
As of end December 2017, downloading the Media Go application will no longer be possible.
The Music Center for PC app is available since August 2017, and offers enhanced support for your WALKMAN® device(s) and Hi-Res Audio compatible products, thanks to an easy file management system as well as Hi-Res Audio playback capability. If you own such devices, we invite you to download and use Music Center for PC.
Since these apps are performing similar functions, Media Go is being discontinued in favour of Music Center for PC.
If you were using Media Go to manage media files on devices such as:
- Xperia smartphones
- Xperia tablets
- PSP system
- Sony tablets
- Mobile phones from other manufacturers
You will have to download Media Go's latest version before the end of December 2017, or use alternative software such as Windows Media Player.
NOTE: As of January 2018, Sony will not be able to provide support for the use of Media Go, nor will it be liable for potential issues related to the use of the software.
