The remaining battery charge of the charging case is unexpectedly empty.

The battery of the charging case consumes power whenever the WF-1000XM3 wireless headphones are inserted, and the charging case lid is opened. 
While the lid is open, the inserted headphones are in standby mode and can be reset or initialised. If you will not perform either one of these procedures, close the lid to avoid unnecessary power consumption.
