Android Open Accessory (AOA) doesn't work when the car audio is connected to an Android smartphone

The Android Open Accessory (AOA) feature is not supported on smartphones running Android 8.0 or later.

How to check the Android version of my phone?

Xperia smartphones

Find and tap Settings → About phone → Android version. If you can't see About phone under Settings, tap System instead.

Other smartphones
