There is no sound or the Bluetooth connection fails when my soundbar or home theatre system is connected to a Windows computer

If your soundbar or home theatre system is connected to a Windows computer and you experience sound interruptions or a dropped Bluetooth connection, try adjusting the sound or device settings on your computer or in the BRAVIA Connect app. In some cases, switching Bluetooth off and back on again or removing the Bluetooth pairing information can help resolve the issue.

Note: We cannot guarantee your computer will work with the soundbar or home theatre system. For details on your computer's specifications or operation, please contact the computer manufacturer or software company.

    Follow these troubleshooting steps:

    1. Check the following:
      • Make sure your computer's volume isn't muted.
      • Make sure the soundbar or home theatre system you want to connect is set as the playback device on your computer.
      • In your computer's Sound settings, check that the soundbar or home theatre system is set as the Default Device.
      • Stop the music software on your computer, and then restart it.
      • Turn off the Bluetooth function on your computer once, and then turn it on and try reconnecting to the soundbar or home theatre system again.
      • Delete the device information on your computer and perform the Bluetooth pairing again.
    2. If the issue still isn't resolved after completing Step 1, use the BRAVIA Connect app to set the Bluetooth Connection Quality setting to Priority on Stable Connection.

      1. Open the BRAVIA Connect app.
      2. Select SettingsBluetooth Settings.
      3. In the Bluetooth Connection Quality setting menu, select Priority on Stable Connection, then tap OK.
