Nicolai is a visual producer, photographer and photojournalist, with his background as a stills photographer. When video functionality first started to appear on digital cameras, Nicolai found it interesting and challenging to try and tell stories with moving images and sound, with emotions much deeper and truer to himself than shooting pictures of other people's stories. He is a mix of a strong creative and a visual photographer with a passion for the journalism part of storytelling. He has divided his career into two paths: the editorial part with documentaries and television work and the commercial part with a focus on branded content and a strong visual presentation of the story. He has been independent for 15 years but now has a role in Video & Digital production for a major European fashion brand.
