What kind of devices can be connected to use the mirroring function?

IMPORTANT: For details on each mirroring connection method, refer to the manual of your TV. Depending on the model, some of the features listed below may not be available.

This solution will provide helpful information regarding the different ways that mirroring is supported by the TV and what devices can be used in each instance.

If using a wireless connection

Wireless Screen mirroring using Miracast technology:

The TV can be connected directly with a Screen mirroring and Miracast compatible device without the use of a cable or wireless router (or access point). A connection must be made by selecting Mirroring on the TV and on the source device. Refer to the list of Wi-Fi Certified Miracast devices found on the Wi-Fi Alliance website for more details.

One-touch mirroring using NFC:

Using one-touch mirroring with Near Field Connection (NFC) technology , just place your compatible smartphone to the one-touch remote control to be able to view exactly what is on your smartphone’s screen on the TV.

How to connect via Wi-Fi or an access point (Wi-Fi Direct):

You can use the Wi-Fi Direct function or an access point connection to display photos or play videos/music stored in the device on the TV.

If using a wired connection

How to connect via MHL cable:
Using a Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) cable , you can connect your smartphone to the TV to mirror what is seen on the smartphone screen. There is an expanding list of compatible devices that are supported using an MHL connection. For an up-to-date list, visit the MHL Consortium website.

How to connect via HDMI cable:
By using a Micro HDMI cable, you can connect your device to the TV and mirror what is seen on the device's screen.

NOTE: Not all smartphones have a Micro HDMI port. To see if your smartphone has a Micro HDMI port, check its specifications or operating instructions.
