Before you start (for Apple devices)
The Screen mirroring function mentioned in this article uses Miracast technology. If you use an Apple device such as an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook, refer to the following articles to display the screen of the device:

What is Screen mirroring?
The Screen mirroring function uses Miracast technology to display content such as photos, videos, or websites from a compatible device to your TV without the need for a wireless router.
Compatible devices and alternative methods
Compatible devices
- Some BRAVIA TVs released between 2013 and 2020
- Google/Android TV™ models released after 2020 do not support the Screen mirroring function.

- Miracast-compatible devices such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer
- For Apple devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod/MacBook): As of 2021, these devices do not support the Screen mirroring function. For alternative methods, see the Alternative methods section below.
- For details on the specification of your device, refer to the product manual or contact the device support.
Alternative methods
If the TV or device doesn't support the Screen mirroring function, you can use an alternative method to display the content on your TV:
- For mobile devices: Mirror, cast, or display the content or screen of a mobile device on the TV screen
- For computers: How to wirelessly display the computer screen on the TV (Android/Google TVs)
How to use Screen mirroring
To use Screen mirroring with a computer, refer to the article below that corresponds to your operating system:
To register your device to the TV
- Press the INPUT button on the TV remote control.
- Select Screen mirroring.
- Press the Enter button.
The TV will go into standby and wait for a connection from a mobile device.
Examples of the standby screen
- Connect your Screen mirroring-compatible mobile device to the TV, then configure it to connect to the TV.
- The instructions below are an example. The exact steps will depend on your Android menu options.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Device connection or Xperia Connectivity.
- Select Screen mirroring.
- On the Screen mirroring screen, tap Start.
- Select OK.
- Tap the name of your TV.

Notes:
- Connectivity with all Miracast-compatible devices is not guaranteed.
- Depending on your TV model, the 5GHz band may not be supported.
- The video quality may be reduced due to environmental interference.
To see the list of connected devices, or to deregister devices from the TV
For Android TVs:
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select Wi-Fi Direct.
- Select Advanced settings.
- Select Show device list / Delete.
For other TVs:
- When the Screen mirroring standby screen is displayed, press the OPTIONS button.
- Select Show Device List / Delete.
- To deregister a device:
- Select the device you want to delete from the list.
- Press the Enter button.
- Select Yes in the confirmation display.
- To deregister all devices:
- Press the OPTIONS button in the list
- Select Delete All.
- Select Yes in the confirmation display.
