Android TV is not being detected as a Chromecast built-in device. The Cast icon is not being bon the mobile device , or even if it is displayed, Cast does not work.
If the Chromecast built-in function of Android TV does not work after doing the troubleshooting above, check these settings to make sure the Google Cast Receiver app is not disabled in Android TV.
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select Settings.
- Select Apps in the TV category.
- Under the Apps, select System app.
- Under the System app, select Google Cast Receiver.
- Set it to Enable.
